Sarah
Sarah has lived a life of bold transitions and creative pursuits. She began her career as a lawyer in China but soon followed her passion for fashion, earning a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Over nearly three decades as a NYC resident, she built a successful private label fashion company with operations in both New York and China, managing branding, design, and manufacturing for renowned names such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Michael Kors, as well as numerous boutique brands.
After becoming a mother, Sarah embraced a new chapter as a stay-at-home mom, finding fulfilment in life’s quieter joys. She has a deep love for nature, travel, art, and photography, and enjoys solitary walks, documentary films, and the occasional soap opera.
After the recent and sudden passing of her dear father, Sarah sought a deeper meaning in life. More than ever, she felt called to return to her passion for empowering women. Now, she is committed to creating a platform for women 30+—a safe and supportive space to share experiences, navigate life’s challenges, and celebrate both laughter and tears together.
Ruiye
Ruiye is a data science professional, certified coach, mother of two, and a Chinese immigrant who has built her life in the U.S. for over 15 years.
With a Master’s degree in Precision Instruments from China and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the U.S., she entered the workforce at age 32. Her career has spanned engineering to data science, and from individual contributor roles to team leadership—reflecting her ongoing journey of self-discovery and growth.
Over two years ago, Ruiye began her coaching journey and earned her Erickson Professional Coach Certification (EPCC). She is an ICF ACC and the founder of ElOne Dynamic LLC, where she supports women in navigating transitions and reconnecting with their inner strength.
Through her personal and professional experiences, Ruiye has come to believe deeply in the power of community. This belief inspired the creation of Luvada—a space where Chinese immigrant women can grow together, reflect together, and support one another in becoming who they truly are.
Beibei
Beibei has loved art and everything related to beauty since she was a child. She is a cultural blender who grew up freely in Japan and China. She is also dedicated to aesthetics, the founder of BeibeiXstyling personal styling, and she is also a mother.
She didn't like dressing up since she was a child, she just liked to stay alone in her own world and draw. In college, she chose fashion design as her major, and her life trajectory has always revolved around the core proposition of "creating beauty". 18 years ago, she entered the industry as a media stylist. As a fashion stylist, she has provided clothing styles for hundreds of models. After moving to New York, she is more willing to provide fashion styling for ordinary people to help them discover their own beauty. She is committed to making every unique individual visible and encouraging them to magnify their own advantages. True beauty is not just a superficial modification, but an expression of vitality that cultivates both inside and outside. At the same time, she hopes that people can feel the power and more possibilities brought by the improvement of their personal image. She firmly believes that all the beauty in life changes from the inside out and from the outside in.
Many people ask her why she keeps breaking through? Her answer was consistent: from being a stylist for models to being an image designer for ordinary people, and then to founding Luvada, what has changed is the way of expression, and what remains unchanged is the exploration of "Better life, Better self". What people living overseas need more is empathy, understanding, mutual appreciation and help, and a warm community where they can constantly learn and improve themselves, be healthy inside and beautiful outside. She said: Becoming a better self is the best feedback for life and the key to solving all problems. She looks forward to meeting everyone at future events.
